What are cookies and local storage
Cookies and local storage are small amounts of data stored on a visitor's device so a website or app can remember settings between visits or pages.
Categories Loyalo uses
- Functional cookies and local storage, needed to make the app and widget work
- Anonymous usage measurement of the widget, such as the number of views and choices
- Advertising cookies from Meta on the website loyalo.ai, only after you have given consent
In the app and in the widget on your store Loyalo places no advertising cookies, and your customers' data is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Only on our own website loyalo.ai do we measure advertising, and only with consent.
The website loyalo.ai
On loyalo.ai we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. That works without cookies and without recognising a visitor. We also use the Meta pixel to measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. The pixel is only loaded after you click 'Accept' in the notice. Meta then places cookies (_fbp and _fbc, 90 days) and receives which pages of loyalo.ai you view and whether you request a demo, together with technical data such as your IP address and browser. Meta can link that data to your Facebook or Instagram account and process it outside the EU; Meta's privacy policy applies to that.
If you choose 'Decline', the pixel is not loaded and Meta places no cookies. We keep your choice in your browser's local storage. You change it with 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of every page of loyalo.ai; when you withdraw your consent we remove Meta's cookies from this domain.

Cookies from subprocessors
Some components, such as payment processing via Mollie or email tracking via Resend or Klaviyo, may place their own technical cookies or tracking pixels when a customer makes a payment or opens an email. Their own cookie and privacy notices apply to those techniques.
How to manage cookies
- Functional cookies are needed for the app and widget to work properly and cannot be disabled separately without losing functionality
- You can always delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings
- For cookies placed by subprocessors, refer to their own cookie settings
