Loyalo as an alternative to Seal Subscriptions
An honest comparison: what Seal Subscriptions costs according to its own price list, what Loyalo costs, and for which shop which app is the better choice.
What Seal Subscriptions costs

What Loyalo costs
Loyalo charges a fixed amount per month: Growth costs € 99 up to 250 active subscriptions, Scale € 299 above that. There is no percentage of your revenue and no amount per order. Customer Loyalty (points and tiers) is an add-on of € 199 per month; B2B is in Scale B2B for € 499. You try everything free for 14 days.

For each app the cheapest plan from its price list that the shop fits in; dollars converted at the ECB rate of 2 October 2026 (1.1225 dollars per euro). Your payment provider's fees come on top with every app. At the bottom of this page you can do the maths with your own numbers.

When Seal Subscriptions fits better
- You are looking for the lowest price: Seal charges $ 0 to $ 24.95 per month up to 500 subscriptions, without a percentage, which makes it much cheaper than Loyalo.
- You do not need iDEAL with direct debit, a points programme with tiers or standing orders for business customers.
When Loyalo fits better
- You want a fixed amount per month, without a percentage of your subscription revenue and without an amount per order.
- Your customers pay with iDEAL: the first payment with iDEAL, the following deliveries by SEPA direct debit through your own Mollie account.
- You want subscriptions, a points programme with tiers (add-on Customer Loyalty) and standing orders for business customers (plan Scale B2B) in one app.
- You want a dashboard in Dutch or English, with support in Dutch.
Moving over from Seal Subscriptions
Your existing subscribers do not have to order again. You export the running subscriptions as CSV and map the columns in Loyalo to customer, product, frequency, amount and next delivery date. Loyalo checks every row and shows what will be created; nothing happens until you click Import. The import sends no emails and charges nothing. A payment method comes along when it is stored in Shopify or as an iDEAL mandate in your own Mollie account; otherwise the customer sets it up again.

Is Loyalo cheaper than Seal Subscriptions?
No. According to its price list Seal charges $ 0 to $ 24.95 per month up to 500 subscriptions; Loyalo charges € 99 or € 299. You choose Loyalo for what is in it: iDEAL with direct debit through your own Mollie account, a dashboard in Dutch and English, and loyalty and B2B in the same app.
Can I move over from Seal?
Yes. You export the running subscriptions as CSV and map the columns in Loyalo. A payment method stored in Shopify comes along.
What does Seal cost above 500 subscriptions?
The price list in the Shopify App Store names no plan for that; Seal offers larger plans on request.
